please help. i took an ambieb still havent fallen asleep, hopefully i didnt miss the time frame? it seems if you dont fall asleep quickly your kinda stuck awake
but feel like your dreaminng. i want to sleep i am super tired, would it be safe to take a unisom?

Well, you’re probably asleep by now. But I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re fine. But I wouldn’t recommend you take them at the same time. I took and ambien and a benadryl at the same time once, and i couldn’t see straight for like an hour. It will increase the effects of the ambien.

I usually need about 3 valium then Im knocked out, I dont just take it for fun I cant sleep without it. Today I decided to take an ambien with the 2 valium I took but Im still awake. Should i try tylenol PM or Nyquil? I need sleep Ive been up for 24 hours straight.

Answer:

If ur Doctor perscribes these “Items” to you then,Ask for somthing stronger like 2-4 mg of Xanax or 2-4mg of Clononazpam…..
Don’t mix that Ambien crap with anything…….

I HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING AND MY DOC WONT PRESCRIBE ME AMBIEN SO I TAKE MY FRIENDS. BUT IF MY WORK TEST ME AND I DONT HAVE A SCRIP FOR IT I WILL GET FIRED. SO MY QUESTION IS WEATHER OR NOT IT SHOWS UP ON A DRUG SCREEN.

Oh, you mean that stuff that’s supposed to help you sleep, but really doesn’t do s**t.

I have been taking 10 mg. of Ambien for a few years (3-5). I want to get off Ambien. My doctor suggested cutting to 5 mg. at night for two weeks then stop it. Dont know exactly what way is best to get off this stuff. Thanks for any advice…

I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say. They can give you more information as to the best way to taper off the medication.

did they go slow, or just go to sleep and not wake up, how did it make you feel, my cousin commited suicide and the only way i could handle was to tell myself that at least he was happy now…how many did they take or anyone who has lost someone to suicide dont you think at least its what they wanted?

No I don’t but if you’re thinking of it, seek professional help immediately!

I would appreciate any suggestions as to alternative treatments. Is there anything natural that has helped you with sleep problems? What herbs or supplements can you recommend. I don’t like being on these pills.

i also have trouble sleeping and take ambien why do u not want to take them anymore if they help?as long as u dont have to take them every night you should be fine.i dont take them every night i use them about 3 times a week and my dr said that is fine.i go through pain management dr for mine hes great and i totally trust him.i have tried everything over the counter and nothing worked for me but that doesnt mean it wont for u so if u are really against taking them any longer ask your dr for some advice they are your be resource

I dont see what the big deal is, like with addiction & stuff. I have taken it only 3 nights & I have noticed no side effects, but I got to sleep faster & woke up hardly at all through the night. I feel refreshed when I get up, & I get right up(instead of hitting snooze 300 times!).
Alot of people have acted like it was bad that I was taking it. Why?

It’s the people who take too much, chew it up and take it with alcohol, or use it to come down from something else that give ambien a bad name. You can probably build a tolerance to it, and that might lead you to take more than the prescribed dose. You are only supposed to use it on a temporary basis, so if you follow the rules, there shouldn’t be a problem

I dont use it on a regular basis, maybe once a week.

No, Ambien will not show. I suggest if they have a space to list any medications that you use, that you leave it BLANK.
It is illegal for them to require that you list your medications, as this is violating your privacy rights. However, if one of your legally prescribed medications should show positive, at that time you can show them what you take as prescibed medicines. I would like to think that employers do not hold against you any chronic medical conditions, however I don’t believe they are that honorable, and may decide not to hire you (of course they wouldn’t actually say this, as this would leave them open to a lawsuit).

I find the whole pill to much for me because i have difficulty wakin in the morning.. So will it be alright for me to cut a pill in half?

If you ONLY have the 5mg tablets, and taking half. Plz dont just do this yourself, You need to call your Dr. More then likely it is OK, but they may have something else in mind for you.OR they can prescribe the lesser amt. See when borken in 1/2 it may lose its effectivness.
Tell them that you are not able to take the whole tablet. This way they can judge if it is working or not.
Is this a brand new prescription?
I have had meds for many years(23 to be exact) and There have been times that I have felt the same way, They would rather prescribe the lower then have you break it.

PLZ Do yourself a favor CALL FOR CLARIFICATION! lIKE i SAID, MORE THEN LIKELY ok, but medications react differently on Everyone and what one Dr says is OK, may not be acceptable for yours.

I had just been told the other day, after 22 yrs of doing things one way, I got a new DR. He will NOT do it the same way I was used to.

I was watching tv the other day and i saw an Ambien CR commercial, and it was saying all of these really weird side effects it had(even death) just to help you go to sleep.

Then i was thinking that weed can help you go to sleep and it has almost no negative side effects that ambien cr has. So why is ambien legal and weed not?
