Is Ambien + Weed a bad or good combination?
I just smoked around half a bowl of weed and im pretty high right now. I have half a pill of ambien, and im pretty tired so would it be ok if I took it? Would there be adverse or dangerous effects? If so what are they, and if not does it ruin the weed high, or just what will it do? Thanks in advance.

The Ambien will increase the drowsiness you are already experience, and the weed will increase the effects of the Ambien-excessive sedation, in my opinion. Its not going to get you “higher”, if that’s what you are going for-your just going to pass out!

Ambien is a pill that helps you sleep, so why is ‘May cause drowsiness’ listed as a side effect?
I mean, isn’t that the point of the drug…to make you sleepy?

Basically what they’re saying is that if you take it, then go driving or operating heavy machinery or anything else you shouldn’t be doing after taking a sedative, and you get drowsy and have an accident, it’s not their fault, they warned you.
Is Ambien a narcotic? The pharmacy put a C with the number similar to Codeine.?
My wife has been taking it about twice a week and she stumbles around like a drunken sailor and has trouble waking up the next day. The pharmacist warned against amnesia and drowsiness. She is taking the straight Ambien, not the CR.

No, Ambien and Ambien CR are not classified as narcotics. Narcotics are pain relievers of an opiate nature. However, by virtue of their mechanism of action on the GABA system in the central nervous system, they are similar to drugs in the benzodiazepine family, such as Xanax, Valium and Klonopin. Ambien is not indicated for long term use, as it can theoritically cause habituation. Use it only on an as-needed basis and do not mix it with alcohol or other sedatives.

I took 1 ambien 10mg about over an hour ago on an empy stomach and i feel nothing. Nothing like everyone else feels. Not even drowsiness. My bf took 1 and he feels everything and is asleep now. Why isn’t it working? No effects at all? FYI I take 10 mg prozac a day.

Call a 24-hour pharmacy. (Yellow Pages.) Ask if it’s ok to take another one. If it’s not, drink some warm milk. It really works!!! You can add honey to make it yummy.
