Is Ambien + Weed a bad or good combination?
I just smoked around half a bowl of weed and im pretty high right now. I have half a pill of ambien, and im pretty tired so would it be ok if I took it? Would there be adverse or dangerous effects? If so what are they, and if not does it ruin the weed high, or just what will it do? Thanks in advance.
Answer:
The Ambien will increase the drowsiness you are already experience, and the weed will increase the effects of the Ambien-excessive sedation, in my opinion. Its not going to get you “higher”, if that’s what you are going for-your just going to pass out!

Can Ambien (Zolpidem) cause a false positive for Benzodiazepines?
In my opinion I believe it would since it binds to GABA neurotransmitters but I want a professional answer. Does it? And if so why or why not? If not, don’t say because it is not a Benzo I know that….

if i took 2mg xanax about a hour ago is it safe to take a 10mg ambien?

Well I thought Xanax helped you to go to sleep, why don’t you cut the ambien in half and take that, you don’t wanna mix to much stuff, especially if you have never taken them together before, you don’t know your tolerance, take half to be safe, wait an hour & if your still not sleep then take the other half, good luck….I am not a MD, just my opinion!

YOU SHOULDN’T CUT DOWN WITHOUT ASKING YOUR DOCTOR.
Just thought I’d get that out of the way. I took ambien for a year and the druggy feeling goes away after time. This is just your body reacting to it. I think if you are nervous about it you should contact your doctor and get his/her’s professional opinion about what you should do.
IS IT SAFE FOR AN 18 YR OLD TO TAKE AMBIEN?

the first answer is from someone who is obviously a moron. Ambien is ok for someone your age to take. If you are allergic to any meds though, id speak to your doctor first. Some peolpe are alittle drowsy in the mornings, but most of the time you feel more refreshed if you do get enough sleep. Im my opinion, Ambien works alot better than advil pm and tylenol pm, AND benedryl!

all that other stuff they sell at walgreens and walmart and other stores they sell for sleep they dont really work much. well thats my opinion., but i have sleeping problems. so my doctor gives me ambien 10 mg. just go see your doctor and tell them you have problems sleeping. and maybe if your lucky they will give you a perscription. they gave me one. so i get refills every month for it. ambien works really really good. better then other stuff out there. just talk to your doctor. good luck

You could act all kind of crazy and do a lot of things you won’t remember. In my opinion, Ambien can be a very dangerous drug. It also reacts adversly with at lot of over the counter medications. A friend of mine often made a habit of taking more of it than she was suppose to. She drove thru her garage door THREE times. One night she drove somewhere. The next morning she went outside, and she had wrecked her car. She had no idea she had even went anywhere. She would eat everything in the house everynight. She said she would wake up in the morning and the trash can would be full of food wrapers.
I use to take Ambien. I took it one night with some cold medicine. I had horrific halucinations. I will never take it again.
