Ambien Cr, this girl I know just chewed up 4 there time released so not suppose to be chewed?
i’m thinking she is a pill head but she took 4! So how will this affect her?
Answer:
wow. shes gonna be tripping majorly.
back when i used to pop pills i crushed and snorted 3 ambiens and it made me start hallucinating. next thing i know im in the bathroom lying on the floor and talking to people thinking i was on a game show.
then everything started turning blue and green and all these wild neon colors. then i blacked out and dont remember anything else.
then i slept for like a day and a half.
its not gonna kill her but it will get her way messed up and have her seeing things.
just watch after her if you can until she comes down.
How come 45 milligrams of ambien gave me such weird dreams?
Answer:
Although I was not on that high of a dosage with Ambien I took 10mg and experienced weird dreams. I now take 100mg of Trazadone and experience the same thing.
I heard and read that most sleeping pills cause what we would say as abnormal dreams.
Who knows maybe it is because we are actually getting sleep verses not and you are suppose to dream. If you remember when you were not on a sleeping pill and you did dream were they weird too or normal, but then again what is a normal dream….
What would happen if you took an Adderall and an Ambien at the same time?
Answer:
adderall is a stimulant and ambien is a sleeping pill, right? they’d pretty much just cancel each other out. remember that you can only combine drugs to get a bigger effect when they do the same thing or have some of the same ingredients.
i took 15 ambien 2 days ago, is it too late to go to er?
I took 15 ambien on Monday June 5th, is there anything I can do at home to get it out of my system now? I have been vomitting but not sure what else to do.
Answer:
That much ambien probably did some serious brain damage. The ambien is out of your system, but you are going to be sick for a long time. You probably don’t need us to tell you what an incredibly stupid thing that was to do. Unfortunately, you are now going to pay the price, and I’m afraid it’s going to be a painful price. I knew one other person that did this, and it took him months to recover. Ambien does damage to the brain that takes a long long time to heal.
Drugs are not candy – many of them are dangerous, as you are just now finding out.
What side effects or adverse reactions have you had after taking Ambien or Ambien CR (Zolpidem)?
Do you hallucinate if you don’t go straight to sleep or what happens?
Answer:
I’ve never hallucinated. It’s made me feel dizzy…like I’ve had a few drinks too many. The closest thing to hallucinating I’ve experienced is sort of an illusion that things are moving. Like one night I was sitting on my couch, and I looked into my dining room and it looked like the chandelier was swinging back and forth. And because I can’t really think straight, I remember one night thinking that there was a person sitting next to me on the couch, when I was actually by myself watching television. It’s not that I actually “saw” a person…there was a pillow next to me, and I could see the outline through the corner of my eye, and I thought it was a person. It didn’t even occur to me that there wasn’t supposed to BE a person sitting there because I was home alone. I sat there for probably about twenty minutes, thinking that someone was watching TV with me, and then it dawned on me that it was just a pillow. I’ve had the same thing happen with other objects…thinking they were something they weren’t if I wasn’t looking straight at them. So it’s not exactly a “hallucination”, it’s more my brain not being able to properly identify objects unless I’m looking right at it.
Every time I take ambien, the next day I get super depressed. Does anyone know if this is normal or not?
Ambien is used to help me get to sleep faster. It’s a prescription sleep aid.
Answer:
A hangover type effect is normal the next day, but not being depressed. The best thing to do is stop taking it and talk to your doctor about it. There’s other medications for sleep that have less side effects.
Have you, or anyone you know, ever been on Ambien? Any strange side effects?
I would get up at night and eat everything in sight, in a daze.
Sometimes i would wake up in the morning and certain things in my house had been moved or rearranged, indicating that I had been sleepwalking.
Answer:
Nice… What is Ambien ? sounds like something I should try ??? yes, no…. Except for the eating thing.

Answer:
Yes I did the same thing. a friend of mine took it and found herself sleep driving!!! She would wake up miles from her house in her pajamas sitting in her car…she quit taking it and so did I. Talk to your doctor or better yet find a Sleep Specialist, I see one and it has helped tremendously. I was sleeping maybe 3 to 4 hours a night for YEARS and now with help from the sleep doctor I am zonked out for 8-10 hours a night without side affects. Good Luck
Does the Ambien CR ad cause your computer problems?
Whenever that ad is shown here on Answers, many times I have to restart my computer because it makes my screen freeze up.
Answer:
I must have missed that one. My computer did have trouble rebooting when I updated with a service 3 pack that was recommended by MICROSOFT….I had to do a system restore and remove the darn thing.
If I cut an Ambien in half, will the effects wear off sooner?
I can’t fall asleep, but I don’t have 8-10 hours to devote to sleep anymore tonight. If I cut a 10mg pill in half, will the effects wear off sooner?
Answer:
The amount of a medication you take will not decrease or increase the half-life of the medication in your system. And, as Ambien is sold in 5 mg strength, it would still be enough to require ample sleep.
The only thing that could possibly alter this is if you have the Ambien CR. Most control release drugs are somehow coated or altered in such a way that they dissolve slowly in the body; releasing the medication over an extended period of time. Often, when a controlled release drug is crushed or cut in half it will impact the effectiveness of the controlled release mechanism and you’ll get the whole dose at one time. Again, that doesn’t change the 1/2 life of the drug, but because all of the medication is released at once, the effects of the medication won’t last as long as they otherwise would have.
